A Brief History
It began in 1952, when Donald Parks started his residential construction business out of the basement of his house in Randolph, New Jersey. Donald built and remodeled residential homes in the Randolph area.

The Parks' family business expanded from residential to commercial/industrial general contracting back in 1965. It was then that Donald had the vision to pioneer the first pre-engineered building Morris County, New Jersey had seen. The seeds of a new family tradition had been planted.

Cranes Lift the Parks' Business to New Heights
One idea spurs another. Tired of renting cranes and having to depend on other parties, Donald envisioned that by owning and operating his own crane he would be able to maintain control of the project and manage the budget more efficiently. The business grew and offered new opportunities: cranes brought bigger and better projects—with emphasis on bigger. Big enough that the crane they had wasn't big enough. So they bought another. And another. And this is how their crane division has grown.

The Parks' cranes range up to 100-ton capacities with a reach up to 145 feet. Every crane rental includes one of Parks' fully insured, trained and experienced operators.

Family Pride and Great Relationships
What drives the Parks family? Quality workmanship, reliability, and honesty. The Parks have developed long-standing relationships with their customers. Nearly all of their jobs come from their reputation and satisfied customers. A prime example of this is the Westpark Business Center. The Parks constructed the first two phases of the complex back in 1989 and 1990. When the final phases of the construction were allocated in 2001 and 2003, the developer's first call went to the Parks family.

Family Pride for Over 50 Years and Growing!
The Parks have prided themselves on their quality and loyalty. They treat their customers and their employees just like family. Today, Donald, Dave, Ken, and Ken Jr. continue to provide the quality and building satisfaction that developers and contractors have come to know all these years. And, with several of Donald's grandchildren prepping to join the business, you can expect another generation of dedication and quality.
