Donald J. Parks Inc. Ranted Among the Top Metal Builders in the Country for the Third Consecutive Year in 2003
For the third consecutive year, Donald J. Parks, Inc. is proud to be named among
'Metal Construction News' Top Metal Builders of 2003. This rating is based on tons of steel purchased throughout the year for metal building projects. Donald J. Parks, Inc was rated as number 51 in the country, having purchased 1,451 tons of steel during 2003. We are honored by this rating and proud of our climb in rank from 85th in 2002 to 51st in 2003, along with our increase in tonnage of steel that took place this year. We look forward to continuing to grow and serve our community with high quality buildings and exceptional service!
Donald J. Parks Inc. Donates Cranes to 2003 New Jersey State Powerboat Championship Donald J. Parks, Inc. has once again demonstrated their commitment to their community by working closely with the Lake Hopatcong Racing Association and the Morris County D.A.R.E. Association to make the NJ State Powerboat Championships possible.
On May 17th and 18th, Lake Hopatcong hosted the first stop on the American Power Boat Association's Inboard Division Series of 2003. Racing consisted of different classes of boats and speeds ranging from 80 to 140 MPH! These special race boats are not like recreational boats and cannot actually sit in the water for an extended period of time because they will sink. That's where we come in.
During race weekend, these speedboats needed to be set into and pulled out of the water all day long. We helped to make this happen by donating our 50 and 60 ton cranes, while our operators, Rich Burd, T.J. Taylor, and John Wieboldt volunteered their time to run the equipment.
We feel that it is very important to participate in events within the community and are thankful that we were given the opportunity to become involved with these organizations.

This 60 ton hydraulic crane offers a 4 section power boom that extends to 110 feet and allows our operators to easily reach out and lift things such as modular home components, steel beams, and concrete structures.
We are excited to offer this new crane and plan to continue providing quality equipment, accompanied with outstanding service as we expand our crane division in the years to come.

Metal Construction News has released their list of the top Metal Builders for 2002 and Donald J. Parks, Inc. is honored to announce that they have once again been recognized as one of the Top 170 metal builders in the country.
These ratings, which are published annually, are based on the tonnage of steel purchased for metal building projects throughout the year. By purchasing 898 tons of metal building steel in 2002 alone, we have earned our spot in the top 100 at number 85. This yearly rating helps to serve as a benchmark, which can help builders to put their businesses into perspective and be able to clearly see how successful their year was. We are very happy to see that, when compared to our industry, we have achieved a high level of success in the past year and have a bright view of the future.
We continually strive to expand our satisfied customer base to ensure steady growth within our company.
Donald J. Parks Inc. Named to the Prestigious Ranks of Top Metal Builders of 2001
Donald J. Parks, Inc. is pleased to announce that we have been named as one of Metal Construction News' Top Metal Builders for 2001. This honor is based upon tonnage of steel purchased and sold during the past year. We are excited, as we have risen through the rates from 129th in 1999 to 61st out of 200 in 2001. This is especially encouraging, as construction has slowed dramatically since the beginning of 2000.
We feel that this success is based upon superior service to our customers, providing the best quality product, and our fair pricing techniques. We pride ourselves in the fact that we repeat, repeat, repeat! Our satisfied customers keep coming back!!
Some of our current accomplishments include the completion of a new facility for Progressive Properties in Randolph, a new hangar for the Morristown Airport, and a new facility for Dell Contractors. Each of these projects utilized metal building systems from VP Buildings.
